I ordered a custom mug and unfortunately the first 1 arrived completely shattered. The box was visibly crushed during USPS shipping, so the damage appeared to occur in transit. The seller responded quickly and sent a replacement at no charge, which I appreciated. However, the second mug arrived with a chip in the handle even though the box was undamaged and there were no ceramic pieces in the packaging, which made me suspect the mug may have been chipped prior to shipping. I contacted the seller again and asked if they would replace the chipped mug, but they declined and instead offered a credit toward a future purchase. After receiving 2 damaged mugs, I did not feel comfortable ordering again. The mug was nice and the seller was responsive, but receiving two damaged items without a fully intact replacement was disappointing.
